Dundonald Primary

Breakfast and After School Club

We offer "wrap-around" care for our pupils through our 'Early Birds' breakfast club and Happy Faces Out of School Care. These facilities provide a friendly, caring environment for the children to play and meet friends before and after school. Both clubs are run in the community hall (access from Dundonald Recreation Ground).

Please note that all clubs need to be pre-booked.

'Early Birds' Breakfast Club

The 'Early Birds' breakfast club is open to all pupils (Reception to Year 6) attending Dundonald Primary School. It is open from 7.45am each morning (Monday to Friday) and children enjoy a light breakfast followed by games and different fun activities before school.

The cost is £5 per child, per session.

Booking conditions and further details can be found on the Breakfast Club Booking Form.

'Happy Faces' After School Club

Happy Faces offers after school care for pupils from our school.  They are a leading provider in the Borough of Merton and operate every day during term time. Sessions finish at 6pm.

A light meal and refreshments are provided.

Mission Statement:

Happy Faces Out of School Care will offer parents and carers, within the community, long-term, affordable, supportive childcare. They will have peace of mind in the knowledge that their child has access to a wide variety of organised activities in a safe, happy, relaxed and stimulating environment where they can play, learn and develop freely. In line with OFSTED guidelines the club is both non-discriminatory and inclusive.

'Happy Faces' staff are experienced and professional with sound background knowledge of working with children and how to meet their needs. They operate within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. All staff are Ofsted approved and DBS checked. A high percentage of staff are qualified first-aiders.

Parents are invited to visit the club when it is operating. A member of staff will explain how the club is organised and the activities provided for the children. This will be a chance to ask questions, talk to staff and children.
