It is important for a child to attend school regularly and maintain a pattern of good attendance to take full advantage of the educational opportunities.
Dundonald Primary School recognises its responsibility to ensure pupils are in school and on time, therefore having access to learning for the maximum number of days and hours.

Reporting Absence
- If your child is unwell please could you also ensure that you email absence@dundonald.merton.sch.uk or leave a voicemail before 8am on each day of absence, stating their class, name and reason for absence. If we do not hear from you on the day of absence will full details this will be recorded as UNAUTHORISED.
- For all Leave of Absence Requests for exceptional circumstances during term time please email absence@dundonald.merton.sch.uk with full details of the times and date of absence, reason and any evidence.
Illness
If your child tests positive for Covid-19, please inform the office. The NHS suggests a 3-day isolation period after a positive test.
