Kindness at Dundonald
As part of our ongoing behaviour project at Dundonald this month we have been focusing on Kindness, specifically small acts of kindness, good manners, greetings and holding doors for people. We see lots of example of kindness around the school every day and are encouraging more positive behaviour thorugh discussions with pupils in class and assemblies.
Last week we marked World Kindness Day. The children read One Tiny Dot and then made a fabulous kindness trail throughout the school.
We also have a Kindness Tree. If we notice someone being kind we write down what we have seen on a leaf and attach it to the tree.
