Returning to School - September 2020
Our school will be open “as normal as possible” on 3rd September apart from children in Nursery and Reception (please see individual start dates and times).
In line with government guidelines, all children will be expected to attend and we will be adopting staggered start and finish times and one-way systems to mitigate risk as far as possible.
Please find school start/finish times and entrances/exits in the document below; this will remain in place until further notice. This guidance also aims to set out the measures we have put in place to keep our children, staff, parents/carers and our community as safe as possible.
Schools have been asked to plan for the return of children in all year groups.
Children will be grouped in self contained ‘class bubbles’ with no more than 30 children in each, with two members of staff. Children will remain in their bubble throughout the day including break and lunch times.
We have made this decision following guidance from the DfE to ensure that the health and safety of children and staff is paramount.
To support entrance and exits we will be providing video clips which will be added here on Wednesday 2nd September - the day before main school starts.
Please note that any of the plans and information shared with you may be subject to change. We will endeavour to communicate all changes with you as and when required.
Please read the entire guidance on returning to school in September 2020:
We are working hard to keep the children, staff, parents/carers and our community safe and will provide a caring and supportive environment.
