to Year 3!
Please take note of the workshops that we offer parents and carers throughout the academic year.
Our Class Charter
At the beginning of the academic year, children were asked to express their views and opinions on how to respect each other's rights. This forms the basis for the class charter which is displayed in the classroom all year.

PUPIL ACCEPTABLE USE AGREEMENT
We have updated our Pupil Acceptable Use Agreements (AUA) and hope that parents/carers will support these by discussing it with their child.
Dundonald aims to provide pupils with the best access it can to online technologies. Filtering, monitoring and alert systems are in place to protect the children from unnecessary risk without overprotecting them. The school actively encourages children to think critically about content and communication from others and develop strategies for recognising inappropriate content/behaviours and how to deal with them. In return, we expect the children to demonstrate that they are responsible/critical users of digital technologies; at school and at home; the Pupil Acceptable Use Agreements reflect our expectations.
We hope that parents/carers will draw up own online safety rules for outside of school as well that are also applicable when your child is at a friend's home. Please see Mr Cuncliffe (Y3C) or Miss Russell (Y3R) if you have any additional questions.
Please find further advice on how to support your child online here.
If your child has been asked to produce an electronic homework, please use the dedicated class email address:
Year 3R: Homework3A@dundonald.merton.sch.uk
Year 3C: Homework3B@dundonald.merton.sch.uk
Please note that this email is not for communication with teachers; this must still be done via the school office email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you.
Letter-join: Cursive Handwriting Practise
We teach handwriting at Dundonald using the Letter-join programme. Pupils wishing to practise their handwriting at home can log in to the Letter-join website (https://www.letterjoin.co.uk/) on iPads and tablets as well as desktop computers and laptops. There you will find the same, easy-to-use handwriting resources as we use at school. Please refer to the login details that you have received for your child via ParentMail or pick up a copy of the letter from the school office.
